On July 11th, 2019, the GIIN, in partnership with the World Resources Institute (WRI) and FHI 360/FHI Ventures, launched Navigating Impact Project themes for Sustainable Forestry and Education.

The Navigating Impact Project is where the GIIN, together with experts, work to identify the best practices, evidence, research, and recommended metrics for each investment theme. Once these resources have gone through the rigorous IRIS+ standards development process, they are uploaded into IRIS+ and made available to a wider audience. This ensures they are practical and reflect best practice.

The presentation included a framing of the work from the GIIN, a detailed explanation of the Sustainable Forestry theme from WRI, and a detailed explanation of the Education theme from FHI360/FHI Ventures. The webinar closed with a discussion and Q+A.
