This metric is intended to capture the value of investments made by the organization during the reporting period to construct, renovate, or purchase new community facilities. It should not include the value of the actual housing units themselves.

A community facility provides services to the local community. Examples include health and medical clinics, health-treatment facilities, schools, arts and other cultural facilities, daycare facilities (adult and youth), and community sports facilities.
