    Navigating Impact Project Launch: IRIS+ Clean Energy Theme

    On October 7, 2021, the GIIN and partner Sustainable Finance Institute (SFI) launched the prototype IRIS+ Clean Energy theme within the Navigating Impact project. This theme draws on the collective knowledge and experience of 140+ stakeholders to help investors select impact strategies and adopt recommended sets of metrics that track performance toward their goals. This webinar highlights what's in the new theme, how it can be applied, and how stakeholders can provide feedback in the next phase. It features speakers Cary Krosinksy (SFI), Todd Cort (SFI) and Grace Earle (GIIN).

    Navigating Impact Project Launch: IRIS+ Biodiversity Theme

    On Sept. 29, 2021, the GIIN and partners WWF-Netherlands and Arcadis launched the prototype IRIS+ Biodiversity theme within the Navigating Impact project. This webinar highlights what's in the new theme, how it can be applied, and how stakeholders can provide feedback in the next phase.     IRIS+ Webinar with CDC Group on Quality Jobs

    On May 13, 2021, the GIIN and CDC Group co-hosted a webinar for impact investors to explore the opportunities offered by mobile technology to enhance engagement with workforces and other stakeholders, especially those who do not work at a desk, such as manual laborers and drivers, where labor risks and staff turnover are typically highest. The session provided insights from CDC’s new report “Enhancing workforce engagement through technology,” as well as from pilot worker and community surveys conducted by both CDC and Finnfund.

    IRIS+ List Webinar for IRIS+ Working Group Investors

    On May 12, 2021, the GIIN held a session for IRIS+ Working Group investors to learn more about the IRIS+ List, a new IRIS+ feature in development. The IRIS+ List will be the largest central source of information on investors allocating capital towards impact, and will help investor organizations transparently show who they are and what they do, get credit for their adoption of best practices and be able to benchmark their impact performance.

    Impact Investing Decision-Making: Insights on Financial Performance

    On February 25, 2021, GIIN's IMM/IRIS+ and Research teams hosted this session featuring panelists from Incofin and UBS. The GIIN presented key findings from the recently released report, Impact Investing Decision-making: Insights on Financial Performance. The discussion focused on the increasing sophistication with which impact investors are approaching impact investment decision-making along with an overview of impact investment financial performance. The session highlighted practical examples from practitioners, offering insight on how various factors influence their decision-making on capital allocation and performance management.
